Charles Darwin: A Genius in the Heart of London project display dates

Charles Darwin was a member of many Learned Societies in Westminster, including the Geological Society of London, the Linnean Society of London, the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG), the Royal Society and the Zoological Society of London.  His final resting place is also in Westminster – in the nave of Westminster Abbey.  Together with Westminster Archives, all of these organisations have contributed to a display of information about Darwin’s life and work, highlighting both his specific contribution to particular Societies and the broader aspects of his life as a resident of Westminster. The display also includes artwork and textiles produced by young people emphasising important elements of Darwin’s life including his Voyage on the Beagle.
